England's Adrian Grant has been successful in his first PSA Tour final this year by lifting the CAS International title today in Islamabad, Pakistan. The 24-year-old Yorkshire-based Londoner beat home hero Mansoor Zaman in a dramatic encounter which went the full distance.

The No2 seed took the opening game in the battle between the two left-handers. But fourth seed Zaman, the Pakistan number two appearing in his fourth CAS International final in eight years, powered back to move 2/1 ahead.

Grant, a former European Junior Champion currently ranked 19 in the world, kept his focus however to wrap up the next two games. His morale-boosting 11-6 3-11 6-11 11-8 11-6 victory in 56 minutes makes Grant the first ever English winner of the $25,000 PSA title.

The success also marks Grant's 10th PSA Tour title - but his first since February last year when he beat Mansoor's cousin Shahid Zaman in the final of the COAS International - also in Islamabad!

Final:
[2] Adrian Grant (ENG) bt [4] Mansoor Zaman (PAK) 11-6, 3-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6 (56m)
