Nick Matthew, who last month became the first Englishman for six years to top the Dunlop PSA Men's World Squash Rankings, retains his number one position in the July list published by the Professional Squash Association.
The 29-year-old from Sheffield celebrated his career-long ambition by taking a well-earned break from the PSA World Tour - and is now back in training, with his sights sets on maintaining his sensational 2010 form in the next PSA Super Series event of the year, the $147,500 Australian Open in Canberra in August.
Matthew tops an almost unchanged top 20, ahead of Egyptians Ramy Ashour, Amr Shabana and Karim Darwish, at two, three and four, respectively; Frenchman Gregory Gaultier at No5; and fellow countryman James Willstrop in sixth place.
In the only change in the elite list, England's Jonathan Kemp returns a career-high world No 20. The 29-year-old left-hander notched up his 11th PSA World Tour title at the Internationaux de France in Bordeaux last month.
