Australia's Mike Corren maintained his unbeaten run on the PSA Tour this year when he won the Merredin Open title in Merredin, Australia.

The 32-year-old second seed from Adelaide faced surprise opponent Steve Finitsis in the final after the No3 seed upset favourite Jason Mudge in the semi-finals.

Finitsis took the opening game in the final, but Corren came back to win 10-11 (1-3), 11-8, 11-5, 11-4. It was his third successive PSA triumph this year after winning the Saskatchewan Open in Canada in March and the WA Open in Perth earlier this month.
